the old Republican Party endorsed Nancy Reagan's, "Just Say No" to drugs campaign. Today, they're going with "just blow up suspected drug smuggles!" And Venezuelan sea vessels are a curious target. personally, i'm not into drugs -- legal or illegal. But i believe i'm consistent to say our bodies are our own domain and i can't dictate how other's manage theirs. At the same time, i do support laws and regulations that responsibly mitigate the collateral damage of drug abuse to society. Still there is nothing more fundamental to America's founding principles than the right to a fair trial -- rather than a felon on a golden toilet seat in an ivory tower acting as judge, jury, and executioner of foreigners in international waters. even if convicted of drug smuggling the punishment in America is not death by bomb if this President really cared about enforcing drug laws he wouldn't redirect thousands of law personnel from drug trafficking to bullying immigrant workers paying taxes. the rationale always circles back to the same thing. The priority of every extreme policy of this President is related to staying in power and out of potential jail. In this case, the get out of jail free card relies on the assumption he can rally the public around a "war-time President" or even void the entire election during war (like Ukraine did). he risked war by bombing Iran. Iran, wisely, didn't bite. Venezuela is a far more convenient target.

QUESTION: IS HOMOSEXUALITY A CHOICE? that question raises many others... first and foremost -- What does it matter whether it is or isn't choice? if it is a choice? what? it should be illegal? The guilty should be "converted," exorcised? or worse? Why?... because humans must keep reproducing more humans to work in iphone factory's for slave wages? because it matters which fleshy human parts touch and rub other parts? because love and tenderness needs to be regulated by government? if it is a choice and there is a God, he gave us choice. if it is a loving God, he wants us to love and be loved. if there is no God. Do whatever blows your skirt up as long as you don't hurt someone else. if some of God's children are born that way and you want to punish them for it, what's next? punish them for the color of their skin? or what family, religion or country they are born into? who would do such a thing??
