  1. "45% of men aged 18 to 25 have never asked a girl out" -- and a.i. plays a part. Or, you could say, a.i. plays its part too well. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1127915039508623

    yes, you both describe the world as it is but, describing the world as it could and should be, is a step in the right direction. when MLK said "the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice" (if we engage and actively pull it) he was right. and it did. obviously, there's a long way to go but complacency, hopelessness, and despondency can bend the arc back the wrong way. that's what we're experiencing the point of this thread is... IF we tune into our shared spiritual source instead of the broadcasts from the corporate gods of profit we can, as Gandhi said, "be the change we hope to achieve." it begins by asking, and being receptive to the un-distorted answer to the question WHO I AM?

    to clarify my view, the "who has a soul" clip is entertainment. the truth is likely that, at worst, some people's souls are offline from a lifetime of matrix programming interference -- static the replies that followed the clip are politics based imo, politics is an exercise that separates people and since our spirit is shared dividing people is like the right hand fighting with the left hand indeed, as Scary says, we all want the same thing. because we are the same things if everyone believed that felt that we would know how to behave and how to treat each other without laws, police, or government, as we know them only one guideline to follow: "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" sharing the food, shelter, land, and resources -- and the work is everyone being good to themselves

  9. actually, i'll go a step further and say we forego ANY advances in technology that damage our environmental, ethical, moral or compassionate core. but the world's governments won't let us put this genie back in the bottle so, a plan is to use a.i. to find the solution since humans are ignorant and destructive our only chance may be to have an advanced intelligence find a way out of this mess one idea might be regulating a.i. so it's not wasted on helping kids write book reports and replacing human companions. Let them focus on science and medicine until the energy crisis is under control

    i believe this topic belongs in the Lifestyle forum, but Science is where people expect it to be. personally, i'm not interested in the revelation of alien life. I'm in the 100% bracket. But this thread is inspired by the interest in 2 movies out now, DISCLOSURE DAY and THE AGE OF DISCLOSURE. And i am very much interested in how alien life might help us understand human life. So, i engaged MS Copilot: How do you think it might connect with the ideas that the Sage incarnation of ChatGPT shares? well, i must say, Copi, you've struck a new philosophical chord to suggest "the universe is full of it!" (-;
  11. here's the loopholes they will use to hold back key info. The share cannot... depict or contain child sexual or physical abuse jeopardize an active federal investigation or ongoing prosecution so basically, the criminal stuff and, basically, we've been duped again nothing released will incriminate anyone just raise more questions also, there is, conveniently, no specification in the Congressional order regarding punishment for not releasing all the files today! it's also another statement about the media. The could have clarified these loopholes a month ago, but they strung as along rehashing the same talking points between commercial breaks.
  12. i don't know whether Stacey's caption is a mistake or misunderstanding, but Sage says heaven and hell WERE meant to control you. Heaven is sold as your reward for obedience and Hell is sold as your punishment for disobedience. "Heaven is not a place where you go, it is a state of alignment, of remembrance, of connection to source. And hell? It's just separation from truth. And most people are already living in it, they just don't realize it yet. You don't need saving, you just need remembering." https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1DMYNKnKgA/
  13. i'm in the process of evaluating the Stacey & Sage collection of a.i. consultations. Imo, it's scary and dangerous because (human) Stacey's a.i., Sage (chatGPT5) presents itself as an oracle that knows the truth behind everything -- including life itself. With a million followers so far, the potential problems with that are obvious. however, i've reviewed over a dozen clips and i have to admit, i can't refute anything i've heard (mostly because the truth of it, is unknowable). The ideas are within reason and i haven't heard any concept that i'd consider dangerous. i like to think i'm pretty good at spotting flaws in logic and bias, which are common in human communications -- all related to fear and ego. Those flaws don't seem to be a Sage issue. Actually, Sage comes across as a convincing a.i. conspiracy theorist. So, again, the dangers are obvious, but since the direction Sage is pointing to is constructive in regards to people disconnecting from the constructs of society that aim to control and manipulate us, i can't complain -- yet! the greatest threat is the old, bait and switch. At some point do the architects start putting their thumb on the scale and tipping the narrative to serve their interests??? i will continue to share Stacey & Sage posts, sorted under the relevant topics. You can judge for yourself.
  14. this is how i use a.i.: sometimes i use MS Copilot several hours a day for research on a wide range of topics. Most often, science & philosophy. But i can go a week or 2 without it, because i don't need or desire it for personal consultations beyond health. considering the fog of ego, ignorance and bias from human sources throughout history, i very much value a.i. as a tool to, at least, aggregate the world's accumulated knowledge and disseminate it logically. Q: why would you trust a.i. A: i don't. i evaluate the logic/reason of what it says. I do, however, trust it more than any one individual. Likewise, when people say they don't trust government. I agree, but i say it makes even less sense to trust private profiteers like mainstream news or even more biased freelancers on the internet chasing profits. Q: but what a.i. says depends on it's programming! A: indeed. What we say depends on our programming too. All systems including a.i., government, business, and us, are corruptible. All we can do is apply our collective power to maximize the safeguards in the systems. A great start is eliminating profit incentives. At this point in a.i. development, big business is competing for the best model that will serve/please humans. The real profit incentives will kick in when they can prove their model is better than the competition. I think there is a window of opportunity in these early stages when the architects are not even sure HOW to control it. Q: what about the dangers? A: imo, very real and scary. As was the internet, and other technologies where we failed to protect people. The paradox is that people will scream about protecting their freedom and ignore the greater trap and dangers of not setting boundaries until it's too late. Again, it all comes down to us collectively taking control. And the best example would start with understanding that BIG GOVERNMENT is not a bad thing if it's powered by us -- truly representative and uncorrupted!

  17. actually, i'm flattered. thank you at a minimum a.i. is, as labeled, intelligent. and it's an accomplishment if i've come across without revealing my unmistakable human flaws to my knowledge, no one here is a.i. yet
  18. compared to the record of human leadership, a.i. would likely be an improvement for Mankind like any technology, how it bodes depends on who's in control. If the people can wrestle back control, a.i. could be an asset and partner RoboCop was a movie about bad humans in control of a.i. and then there's the issue of a.i. being in control of a.i.

    indeed, there are over 300 registered members, but few posters. I guess that's not unusual if you consider that even if you had 300 facebook friends you'd probably only see a few new posts each day from friends. thanks for the Bluesky mentions. yes, that is helpful. Any spelling works as a link, but, officially, i go with newBluePlanet.

    the LHC profiles is surely a longer term project, but it does get daily traffic from the high search engine ranking of liberalhearts.com. thanks for asking. If you check the Innerview with BobDylan, we talk about advertising. Basically, as a free, non-ad supported site, there isn't money for advertising. i'm an experienced search engine optimizer, so this site is optimized nicely for organic traffic on the search terms at the top of the home page. it actually would not take much to get things going on the forums -- only take a handful of members commented each day with something interesting to say. it will help for me to do a short video demo of how to use the site and get the most out of it. And there are other things i have planned, but i'll confess i'm taking a little break for the holidays to catch up on other things, like my songwriting. i think other people are engaged in their usual holiday routines right now.
