  1. “She’s carefully timing her departure just 1–2 days after her pension kicks in and after making millions of dollars insider trading stocks for weapons manufacturers and others while in office.” “She is saying a lot but her ACTIONS have not backed up the rhetoric. For all her talk, she’s STILL voting with them to gut healthcare and advance self-dealing corruption schemes!” - AOC
  2. the method for selecting multiple choices (for profile fields that allow them), does differ depending on the device. With a mouse on a PC or laptop the method is the same. PC or Laptop: On Windows use standard commands. Press Control Key + mouse click to select multiple choices. Cellphone: Depends on your device and operating system. I recommend asking A.I. based on your device. let me know if you still have a problem
  3. just because someone is nutty, it doesn't mean that we can't trust the emotions they're presenting. We know she's never liked Democrats. She's been saying she doesn't like some of the things going on in her Party, especially the Epstein coverup. And she expressed how she felt about the prez attacking her and the threats she received. So, resigning makes sense. She may have had bigger aspirations, but i don't think she has them now. She'll probably miss the spotlight. If the king goes down in disgrace -- she might take the opportunity to resurface as someone who got it right. But if he goes down because of political pressure his voters will see her as someone to blame. it probably would have been better for the left if she stayed as a cog in the works even before he took office, the trend has been to resign if you oppose him. that's not helpful.
  4. if his name shows up in 1,670 of Epstein's 2,324 recovered email threads, what does it really matter what's redacted?
  5. i think some women prioritized inflation and Kamala didn't separate herself from Biden and didn't blame DT for screwing up covid which started the inflation and, i do personally believe the election was rigged and votes were eliminated but i just think that's a separate issue that detracts from the heart of the question -- which is about a woman candidate's viability
  6. i do, btw, believe there is gender bias. but that there are enough women voters to compensate for neanderthal men
  7. good topic for a poll. a note on poll options -- and an example. i believe the U.S. is ready and has been but it depends on the right woman, just like it depended on the right Black man in Obama's case. But the only option there is to tie it in with the election being stolen. so, i would say, try not to create a poll option that ties together multiple opinions (such disagree AND election was stolen) OR you could stick with those 2 "disagree" options as long as you cover the bases with a 3rd disagree option (such as "wrong women") that fills in the hole left by the other 2.
  8. MTG may be the first to launch a lifeboat from the sinking ship, but she won't be the last. The speedy bill signings the last 2 days could represent an even bigger shift than imagined. the king got a sore throat from arguing about releasing the files his team convinced him they can redact enough to keep him covered his team knows the only people jailed or destroyed were his prior accomplices. At the pace he's breaking more rules and laws, and asking them to, their risk is too great. GOP Senators, like McConnell, have always hated him. They stuck with him because their voters did. Their losing support. the fate of this king will figuratively follow that of Julius Caesar. Now that they've got his signature on the bill... THE DOJ WILL RELEASE MORE THAN HE EXPECTS and IT WILL BE HIS UNDOING!
  9. ..."57%, believe the U.S. is on a path to another civil war... More than three-quarters of respondents said they are worried that freedom of speech is being eroded, and 69% believe democracy is under major threat." 10. she's been a punching bag for both sides over her relatively short career. I don't think she's up for an escalation of that. It might just be what it looks like. She's fed up with many of the men in her Party. I think she only "loved" the Prez because, like the rest, she felt it a prerequisite for staying in office. She knows his spell on their base may be breaking.
  11. wow. after telling a female reporter who asked an Epstein question on the plane today, "quiet piggy," he later went on a 3 minute beat-down of another female reporter who asks about releasing the files and never answers the question. He often talks about what people would "do in the old days." In the old days a women would smack him in the face. I wish they could sue him for slander and for trying to ruin their career.

  14. though this post is clearly from MTG's PR team it does paint an accurate picture of what anyone, especially women are up against!
  15. but don't expect him to be satisfied with a plan that includes a pardon. He's go other crimes a pardon won't protect him from. He's after staying in the W.H.
  16. mainstream news calls it a "stunning" reversal for the president to endorse the release of all the epstein files that "can legally be released." Soon he'll say it can't be released because of the "ongoing investigation" he ordered. it's not stunning. it's par for the course for this lyin' king. technically, he could release the files today without waiting for any votes if he wanted to.

  19. did y'all catch what happened yesterday? after weeks of not swearing in the last Epstein file voter, as soon as the vote happened and more damning dirt came out, the President of the United States ordered the, by definition, impartial Attorney General of the United States to investigate only Democratic Party parties in the Epstein file, despite him calling it a hoax, because... THE ATTORNEY GENERAL CAN NOW STOP THE EXPOSURE OF THE EPSTEIN FILE BECAUSE IT IS PART OF AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION!

Mac, i've never seen Hicks before. His advertising and marketing slam is certainly edgy. I guess it's like being a lawyer. Depends on the client. If the product is good, you do good work by promoting it. If it's not, and it isn't most of the time, you're promoting/defending a lie. Hicks introduces the term Mac-inations. Is that something like Mac-logic. Can we fit you in there somewhere?

Captain's Log—Stardate 2025.15.10 it's been 1 year since Newbl construction began. Now 3 weeks into its initial launch, i'm still deliberating its purpose and direction. i steered an online dating service for over 25 years and a prior political discussion forum for 10. You'd think i'd have learned enough. Still, things change. And key questions remain: i know the public is tired of being exploited by unscrupulous money-sucking data-harvesting profiteers. But, even if they embrace the concept of a non-profit social network, are they willing to help built one from scratch? communicating can be a heavy lift. Are web-surfers too dependent on instant gratification -- 30 second cat-clips, hot TikTok stars, vertical doom-scrolling, swipe-left-right decision-making, and thumb-typing? thousands of cyberspace travelers have dropped in. Most — hesitant to sign-up and engage. Surely, numerous bugs in the software have impeded growth. How much? i'm feeling the next phase should be about me listening. And not to any half-human Spock or a.i. Copilot. i need to beam down. explore deeper. interview the native life forms...

last night Bill Maher was at his worst, attacking Democratic Socialism with his new brand of disingenuous hypocrisy. He said we've tried it many times before, and it's failed (we haven't). The closest we came was FDR's programs -- still a vital core of America. Bill cited North Korea as a model of it's failure. N. Korea is a dictatorship run by a lunatic. Ditto China's communist model and Russia's fake Presidency. then there's the Bill Maher model. Intelligent, sharp, still witty. But his emotions kicked in, and now his steady logic depicted by this straight line -------- is hitting more and more bumps in rational -----^-----v-----<. It began during the covid crisis when masks frightened him and his fancy restaurant privileges were curtailed by the concept of people sacrificing some conveniences for the sake of society. As i already mentioned -- his emotional scars of being Cancel Cultured by ABC 20 years ago kicked in and his pot-head fog of paranoia didn't help. And, of course, political views are driven more by emotion that intelligence.
