They will be closing the Strait of Hormuz. Iran exports the vast majority of its oil through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow, highly strategic waterway connecting the Persian gulf to the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. Situated between Iran and Oman, this l of Iran's crude exports to Asia. China gets a large portion of its oil from Iran. This will not sit well with them. It’s a disaster.

Hi Bob. I used to be a tolerant person. As I get older (I’m 67 btw) I am so disillusioned with people. I was always very non-confrontational but this is all too important to let slide. I could have used that article info last week when I got into it with my MAGA cousin. Growing up we were so close. She was someone I looked up to and admired. I have been keeping my distance for the last year. I knew I couldn’t see her without getting into it. She sent me an article after the superbowl about Bad Bunny and the halftime time show ( which she actually didn’t watch) stating that his lyrics were sexual and disgusting. I fact checked it, totally not true. At that point , I decided to call her and try to talk. What I found was the sweet girl I so admired was an incredible racist and bigot. She still believes THE LYIN' KING is doing wonderful things for the country and the Epstein files are a hoax , the girls were prostitutes and they are all liars. Alex Prede and Renee Goode were agitators and deserved what they got. After an hour and a half I was exhausted and disgusted. She said we are family and we shouldn’t let this come between us. We both said I love you and I said maybe we can talk again in November. There may be hope for some but she is too far gone. Nothing I said penetrated at all but it was worth a try.

Our President has set a new precedent. He just opened the gates to encourage any dictator to just go take what and who they want. Russia, China, North Korea I’m sure are now considering similar behavior. So now that we are running Venezuela can we stop the bull💩 story of saving the lives of Americans due to drugs. It’s impossible to try to figure out what or how to comprehend first. I myself, am concentrating on the Epstein files. In some bizarre way I believe all these things are connected. My hope for the United States and most importantly for the victims and survivors of the Epstein files I pray this will be what finally brings him down. Along with many other people as well. As sweet as she can be is as tough as she can be. She will always ask the hard questions and never gets intimidated by anyone. While watching the latest shooting at Brown College last night, 2 killed 9 seriously injured my first thought was dear God not another one. A reporter was interviewing a student. Visibly shaken the young student explained she picked this college because she felt it was safe and secure. She had been in a mass shooting in middle school. She was shot in the stomach and she survived. Her best friend was not as lucky. He died on the scene. As she told the story it gave me chills when she very calmly said I can’t believe this is happening again. I felt sick, why should this poor girl have ever had to go through any school shooting let alone two. What is it going to take? I ask myself that question way too often these days. What’s it going to take?

The obvious answer has always been universal healthcare. Everyone should have the same healthcare no matter what financial situation you have. We need to look at all of the countries different types of universal healthcare. See what works and what doesn’t and the best way to fund it all. This way we create the best possible system. “Living in a society” Matthew Cooke you are right. People are so afraid of words such as socialism and communism and have no idea what they really mean. Unfortunately, we are so far from “living in a society” I can’t imagine we will be able to redeem some essence of peace and caring for each other. The saddest part is we all want the same things. A place to live, food to sustain us, an education, a living wage and people we care about. The amount of wealth and greed is so completely out of control. To have people going hungry so the rich can keep raking it in, is inhumane. How much money is enough? Is it the thrill of a race to be the richest person in America no matter how many people you have to destroy. Maybe I’m naive but none of these billionaires seem happy or content. They will never know the true feeling of peace or appreciation for any place or person. For the sake of our children and grandchildren this President and administration have to be stopped and punished. Only then we can start to rebuild and be living in a decent society.

I miss George Carlin. That speech could have been spoken today. I know it has always been this way but we have reached new heights of greed and power. They don’t even bother to hide it anymore. Hi Marguerite, welcome to NBP. I have had some bad interactions with the right as well. I do think within the next few weeks the tides will hopefully begin to turn. I don’t think the Lyin King realizes or perhaps he really doesn’t care that he is hurting his base as much as he is hurting us. If we can interact with right, speaking civilly on both sides maybe we can enlighten them to the truth. At this point, we need all the votes we can get for the midterms.

You can fix stupid with education but this administration is doing everything in its power to destroy our education system. They want children that are uneducated, and uninformed. This way they can mold their minds to believe anything they want them to. Adding religion into a classroom setting will inevitably make things much worse. Children need to be taught from a very young age how to treat people, how to have and show compassion and have the courage to speak up when they see something wrong. Home life is going to be more important than ever before. Growing up is not going to be easy for this generation of kids and young adults. Actually, it’s not going to be easy on any of us.
