The Lyin' King Thread

I'm sure we'd all rather be talking about new ideas than dealing with the ravings of a grown man who literally and figuratively needs his diaper changed every day. But if we step around it like the profit-prioritized media we'll be in it up to our necks before long. Until we can move on, let's contain his bullying and dictatorial stink in this thread so we can toss it like a doggy-bag when that bright newBlue day arrives. However, since I do believe we need a break from his name and brand, any typing of his name on this forum will be converted to "The Lyin' King"

Topics related to this administration, its policies, and all-the-king's-men and women should be directed here also.

People tend to believe that every unprecedented move by the would-be Prez-a-King is intended to distract from his more insidious crimes. But despite the lack of journalistic scrutiny, the public is beginning to catch on to the bigger picture.

The thing this Prez cares about first and foremost is not being exposed to prosecution and potential prison time. To that end, he must stay in office, past the midterms, and beyond...

The military, the press, the courts and Congress are being groomed to protect him from, more than crimes past -- crimes to come -- including, not surrendering the White House when his gig is up.

I can, understand that is, because they only are willing to fight dirty against progressives, not against Repubs. Why? Because their only real purpose, as a fake or controlled opposition party, is to protect the status quo for the rich and corporations, which is not only about defeating progressive candidates, but also colluding with the Repubs to serve the rich and corporations. BTW, progressive is just a modern term for socialist, used by progressives to avoid the stigma associated with socialism.. Specifically to your point, V., running those ads would offend the donors that fund both major parties, so you'll never see the DNC or corporate Dems ever running honest, brutal ads like that against Repubs..

indeed. If i ran the Party we would be running ads right now that would absolutely destroy the Republicans for being accomplices to this criminal enterprise in the WH. Instead they will wait until election season and tackle the same old left vs right talking points and strategies.

Nice to see you again on the forums, Lindy. I missed you. V., you totally nailed it, they should be doing those ads now, but you're so right, that instead they'll wait to the next season and do the same stale left vs. right talking points, and stick to the same identity politics and culture war 💩, instead of running on lefty economic populism. Because first off, they don't stand for economic populism from the left, and haven't stood for it since the 80s, and secondly, they won't do that because it would offend their corporate donors. So they'll stick with the same bashing the Repubs on culture war stuff and ID politics, and with that, maybe even still find a way to lose races that should be easy to win. Beginning with Clinton in the 90s, the Dem Party traded unions and the working class for corporate and Wall Street cash, and we've all been paying the price ever since.. I look for more of the same tired, " We don't stand for anything economically, but at least we're not Repubs, and we differ from them on the culture war stuff", but the problem is, the working class and most voters, really don't care about the culture war stuff and ID politics, compared to economics. So even if the Repubs lie to them about economic policy and what they will deliver on it, most people will still vote for Repubs, if the Repubs at least play to their anger and grievances, while the Dems simply ignore those things, as if class war doesn't exist..

i woke up this Sunday morning, scanned my brain for political news and asked,
"did the U.S. President really say 'Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country' after dropping a weapon of mass destruction on a plot of land in Africa on xmas eve under the guise of defending Christians?"

after some evidence this week suggests his involvement in a 13 year old's suicide after dumping her newborn infant overboard

and the Sunday news show's are still talking about tariffs?
while Nancy Pelosi indicates in her ABC interview, once again, that she doesn't really support impeachment?

Captain my captain, you should never start your Sunday with political news.

As for the Lyin Kings Christmas message, which already feels like it was weeks ago, we shouldn’t really be surprised. He has posted nothing but horrible things to us and about us. The people who should truly be affected are the Republicans. It has to occur, even to them that this behavior is above and beyond even for THE LYIN' KING. Something is seriously and mentally wrong with him. One would think that would be enough for impeachment alone. But no! The past week the Prez bombed Nigeria. Bombed Venezuelan boats. Took the oil from their tankers. At the moment, talking to President Zelenskyy and Putin to see how much he can screw that up. And let’s not forget about Netanyahu. It’s impossible to try to figure out what or how to comprehend first. I myself, am concentrating on the Epstein files. In some bizarre way I believe all these things are connected. My hope for the United States and most importantly for the victims and survivors of the Epstein files I pray this will be what finally brings him down. Along with many other people as well. We do have something to look forward to. It’s just a matter of when. Happy New Year?

he bought several pairs of these $150 shoes for each of his cabinet members, based on his estimate of their shoe size, which he said, "tells a lot about a man." (did we pay for this part of their cult uniform?)

this says it all. the control of his sycophants, the whimsical decision-making, senility, stupidity, etc..
