MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
I believe she has a plan, I’m just not sure what it is just yet, but her whole rebranding tour has something behind it. I don’t trust that the leopard has changed her spots!

The part about her congressional pension doesn't surprise me one bit.

MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
“She’s carefully timing her departure just 1–2 days after her pension kicks in and after making millions of dollars insider trading stocks for weapons manufacturers and others while in office.” “She is saying a lot but her ACTIONS have not backed up the rhetoric. For all her talk, she’s STILL voting with them to gut healthcare and advance self-dealing corruption schemes!” - AOC

MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
It's my belief that MTG looked at the polls and decided she was on the wrong side of the Epstein fallout. How soon we forget her rants and antics against the left. Her current behavior is just cleaning up the image for her next gig.

MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
I agree, resigning because of someone you oppose, might be better for your own life and welfare, but it does nothing to stop the 🧻hole you oppose. If anything, it gives them a win, and makes them look and feel stronger... To me, the congress critters who start finally opposing THE LYIN' KING before they resign, are not profiles in courage, rather they are cowards. I have more respect for a Liz Cheney, who stand and fight, all the way to being defeated at the polls, compared to those who virtue signal thru resigning, rather than staying on and fighting, down to the last election they face..

Thanks V3, I'll try that method on my laptop. Would I be pressing Control Key and clicking the mouse at the same time for this, right? Hey, it worked. I never knew about using those two things together to get that function. The old dog actually learned a new trick, lol... When it comes to tech and computer stuff, I really do need clear, complete simple instructions, that treat me like a dim-witted six year old..... While outside of computer and tech stuff, I'm actually a fairly bright person...

the method for selecting multiple choices (for profile fields that allow them), does differ depending on the device. With a mouse on a PC or laptop the method is the same. PC or Laptop: On Windows use standard commands. Press Control Key + mouse click to select multiple choices. Cellphone: Depends on your device and operating system. I recommend asking A.I. based on your device. let me know if you still have a problem

MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
just because someone is nutty, it doesn't mean that we can't trust the emotions they're presenting. We know she's never liked Democrats. She's been saying she doesn't like some of the things going on in her Party, especially the Epstein coverup. And she expressed how she felt about the prez attacking her and the threats she received. So, resigning makes sense. She may have had bigger aspirations, but i don't think she has them now. She'll probably miss the spotlight. If the king goes down in disgrace -- she might take the opportunity to resurface as someone who got it right. But if he goes down because of political pressure his voters will see her as someone to blame. it probably would have been better for the left if she stayed as a cog in the works even before he took office, the trend has been to resign if you oppose him. that's not helpful.

MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
I disagree. I was glad when she said it out loud, tho in retrospect, it now looks like she said it in order to pressure for the release of the files, who knows? Either way, I was hoping she would go ahead and do it on the House floor, but now it seems likely that she will not do it before she leaves, and even if she did try it, Johnson would find some way to block her from doing it. Which is what I expected would happen, after she announced that she was going to do it, that Johnson would never allow it. So it may have just been an empty threat to pressure for the files release.. We'll probably never find out the real story behind her decision..

MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
Wow I stopped watching the news for 2 hours and MTG resigns. That makes no sense at all. What did the Lyin King do this time, bribery or sick threats. He really does have a way with women. I was just starting to not hate her. This makes no sense because she had to know disagreeing with him was going to make him angry. I think saying she would read the names was a very dangerous thing to say out loud. She should have kept it quiet.

MTG is resigning, rather than face a primary. WTF?
I was really surprised to hear this news, since I figured she was angling for a presidential run later on, with her recent stands against THE LYIN' KING. Now I don't know what she's thinking. So I'm curious what the other members think.. I'm assuming she thought she would lose the primary, against a THE LYIN' KING backed challenger.. I was really hoping she would read the whole client list from the Epstein survivors, on the floor of the US House, as she said she would do, before she leaves congress. But now I really doubt she will do it before she leaves. Which is a pity, because that is the one forum where it would be immune from any lawsuits for defamation, since congress is exempted from that during floor speeches..

FAQ: Site Memberships
Wanted to let V3, as well as the other members know, that the only remaining issue I've run into with the Liberal Hearts Club profiles process, is that when I try to edit my profile, using the Actions button, I still can't get it to allow me to select multiple choices in the section with the listings of multiple choices, for things like fav music, fav type of people, etc.. Maybe it's because I'm using a laptop, instead of a smartphone, but every time I select one choice for a particular profile category, it won't let me go on and add another choice, so I end up with only one selection for each one. I don't want to add any more info to my comment section of my dating profile, which is already close to the max number of characters, but I see no other way, right now, to add these additional choices to my profile, for people who are viewing it. Anybody else having this issue? Because I have seen other dating profiles that did have multiple choices included for these multiple choice ?s. Maybe there have been some changes made to the profile software, so that if I made a new profile from scratch, the system would allow me to have those multiple choices on the ?s I mentioned?

POLL: Epstein damage: How bad?
They all need to and should, but I have zero confidence that it will ever happen, simply because they have too much money and power these days, esp. with the US govt., so they can always find ways to block and avoid any real accountability or punishment. And in their social circles, even being publicly shamed, such as full disclosure of the files, would still not make them pariahs, at least in their social circles. Only poverty would make one a pariah in those circles, sick as that sounds..

POLL: Epstein damage: How bad?
It matters because we need to hear it all. So many powerful men in business, banking, technology and politics are involved. International royalty and prime ministers. THE LYIN' KING of course doesn’t want his part to come out but he is part of a very large group. They all need to finally pay for what they have done.

POLL: Is the USA ready for a woman president?
Agreed. Like I said, we will have a woman president eventually, assuming we keep having any sort of free and fair elections, which is still an if, in my mind. But even then, the first woman president will be a right wing, hawkish Republican candidate, simply because that will be the necessary pedigree to get most men, and even women, to feel safe and comfortable enough about voting for her. Because otherwise, both men and women voters are still too biased in thinking any Dem woman candidate is not tough or strong enough to handle the job.

POLL: Is the USA ready for a woman president?
“We ain’t ready” I do agree. I don’t think the US is ready to accept a female President. Until the majority of men consider women to be their intellectual equals, it’s not going to happen. We have a way to go. That being said, I do think Kamala Harris actually did win. Unfortunately, it was solely for the reason of trying to keep THE LYIN' KING from winning. She was not necessarily the best candidate but our only choice that was better than the lying king. I do think eventually we will have a woman President just not 2028.

POLL: Is the USA ready for a woman president?
He was the “right” black man only because he was a “safe” black man (not radical, not militant, not aggressive, not forceful — unlike the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue) for a segment of the electorate. For me, Barack Obama was not the right black man. America needed — and still needs — a “person of color” who didn’t — and doesn’t — play it safe. Perhaps that man is Zohran Mamdani.

POLL: Is the USA ready for a woman president?
i think some women prioritized inflation and Kamala didn't separate herself from Biden and didn't blame DT for screwing up covid which started the inflation and, i do personally believe the election was rigged and votes were eliminated but i just think that's a separate issue that detracts from the heart of the question -- which is about a woman candidate's viability

POLL: Is the USA ready for a woman president?
good topic for a poll. a note on poll options -- and an example. i believe the U.S. is ready and has been but it depends on the right woman, just like it depended on the right Black man in Obama's case. But the only option there is to tie it in with the election being stolen. so, i would say, try not to create a poll option that ties together multiple opinions (such disagree AND election was stolen) OR you could stick with those 2 "disagree" options as long as you cover the bases with a 3rd disagree option (such as "wrong women") that fills in the hole left by the other 2.

POLL: Is the USA ready for a woman president?
Follow-up Poll: Which Woman Do You Think Would Make an Ideal President? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, because her spunk, Democratic Socialist ideals, and (unfortunately rejected) "Green New Deal" legislation are the types of "breath of fresh air" that are desperately needed in America. Summer Lee, because, just like fellow "Squad" member AOC, she is fighting for the kind of future for America that I want. Kristi Noem, because America is going to the dogs, and this b*tch knows how to pop a cap on that problem! Rachel Maddow, because America would still be able to have a First Lady. Caitlyn Jenner, because she's got balls! RuPaul, because why not?! "Sissy that walk, Grrrl!" Write-in Candidate
