QUESTION: IS HOMOSEXUALITY "UNNATURAL?"

Homosexuality is not uncommon in nature. Though there are cases of asexual reproduction, HETERO-sexual behavior is simply nature's tool for species re-population. Regardless, there is nothing more natural than the tactile exchange of affection between any two people regardless of what kind of parts they're equipped with.

"Geir Soeli, the project leader of an OSLO museum exhibit entitled "Against Nature," told Reuters: "Homosexuality has been observed for more than 1,500 animal species"..."The sexual urge is strong in all animals. ... It's a part of life, it's fun to have sex," Soeli said of the reasons for homosexuality or bisexuality among animals."..."Greek philosopher Aristotle noted apparent homosexual behavior among hyenas 2,300 years ago"

Even if you believe homosexuality is "unnatural" it does not translate to "unethical" or immoral.

What is common in nature is not the basis for evaluating human morality. For example, it is most natural for animals to fight or kill each other over food, territory, or mating rights and for males to spread their seed with wild abandon. But those behaviors are not ethical for human's in a civilized society.

QUESTION: IS HOMOSEXUALITY A CHOICE?

that question raises many others...

first and foremost -- What does it matter whether it is or isn't choice?

if it is a choice? what? it should be illegal? The guilty should be "converted," exorcised? or worse? Why?...

  • because humans must keep reproducing more humans to work in iphone factory's for slave wages?

  • because it matters which fleshy human parts touch and rub other parts?

  • because love and tenderness needs to be regulated by government?

if it is a choice and there is a God, he gave us choice.
if it is a loving God, he wants us to love and be loved.
if there is no God. Do whatever blows your skirt up as long as you don't hurt someone else.

if some of God's children are born that way and you want to punish them for it, what's next?
punish them for the color of their skin?
or what family, religion or country they are born into?

who would do such a thing??

The Supreme Court will meet behind closed doors Friday to consider a longshot bid to overturn its decade-old same-sex marriage precedent, an appeal that is churning fear among some LGBTQ advocates even though the justices themselves have repeatedly signaled little appetite for reopening the landmark decision.
