What is the worst effect the Epstein scandal will have on the Prez if more evidence comes out? 7 members have voted

  1. 1. What is the worst effect the Epstein scandal will have on the Prez if more evidence comes out?

    • it will lead to his impeachment and/or a conviction after he leaves office.
    • it will lead to Republican reps turning on him so they can be re-elected, but not impeachment.
    • it will lead to a blue wave, but Republican reps wil not break with him.
    • it will not have much of an effect because, whether the Right will admit it or not, everyone already knows he's guilty -- of a lot of things. IOW, "he can shoot someone on 5th avenue..."

i fear that the bad news is already baked into his stock price and the bar has already been lowered to dirt level.

i mean, he bragged about grabbing women by the cat hairs, is already a felon and adjudicated rapist, blew up 20 boats carrying 79 people on spec, hoped for his VP to be hanged, and buried his ex-wife on his golf course for the tax break!

case in point, Megyn Kelly just lowered the bar to suggest, it's not like the young girls he was interested in were under 10, and "there's a big difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

Yes, Megyn Kelly can do basic math. As far as common sense goes umm 0. Whether a child is five or 15 they are still considered a minor. When a person of any age does not consent to sex and it is then forced on them, that is rape. Rape of a minor makes you a pedophile. PERIOD.

They are splitting hairs and arguing in bad faith about distinctions about whether a few years either way makes any difference at all, in the law and the facts of an illegal, immoral, and unfair power imbalance between a child and an adult in a sexual situation. Period... Also, the fact that a man, including Epstein, prefers sex with girls close enough to legal consent age, at least in how they appear to onlookers, still makes them a creepy scumbag and a pedo, a criminal, and an adult man who has no business having sex with them. Those men are merely trying to look more respectable than they are, and to minimize or reduce their vulnerability to being condemned by the public and their peers..

did y'all catch what happened yesterday?

after weeks of not swearing in the last Epstein file voter, as soon as the vote happened and more damning dirt came out, the President of the United States ordered the, by definition, impartial Attorney General of the United States to investigate only Democratic Party parties in the Epstein file, despite him calling it a hoax, because...

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL CAN NOW STOP THE EXPOSURE OF THE EPSTEIN FILE BECAUSE IT IS PART OF AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION!

Just what I expected, the Repubs coming up with a bull💩 technicality to further hold back the Epstein files..

mainstream news calls it a "stunning" reversal for the president to endorse the release of all the epstein files that "can legally be released." Soon he'll say it can't be released because of the "ongoing investigation" he ordered.

it's not stunning. it's par for the course for this lyin' king. technically, he could release the files today without waiting for any votes if he wanted to.

I figured this was coming, once THE LYIN' KING couldn't stop the vote for releasing the files, he would find some technicality or ploy to keep them hidden, even after a vote in favor of releasing them. And this way, he can delay the release indefinitely, while the so-called investigation is ongoing... He needs to be forced to resign, or the 25th amendment used on him by Vance, etc.., because his party will never vote to impeach him... I'm sure if either of those happen, Vance will make a deal to pardon him, same as Ford did for Nixon...

but don't expect him to be satisfied with a plan that includes a pardon. He's go other crimes a pardon won't protect him from. He's after staying in the W.H.

I agree, that's what THE LYIN' KING wants, and the main reason he ran this time was to stay out of prison. But if he becomes too much of a liability to the Repubs, I'm hoping they make him an offer he can't refuse, as far as resignation or the 25th Amendment removal... I also think that THE LYIN' KING's dementia, which the corporate media has been minimizing and ignoring for a long time, is finally becoming so obvious and increasingly worse, that it may also be beginning to finally turn off some people about him...

though this post is clearly from MTG's PR team it does paint an accurate picture of what anyone, especially women are up against!

@RepMTG

I am being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world

...Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now

...As a woman I take threats from men seriously. I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel.

...Our country is worth saving and it can only be done if we pull together and save ourselves.

Me thinks MTG may be planning to run for prez next time, and so she's trying to position herself for a post THE LYIN' KING era, but I also used to think Liz Cheney was planning to do something similar, a few years ago. I was wrong then, and may well be wrong now, about MTG..

Just watched the Stewart episode. Priceless slam on the Repub hypocrisy..

wow. after telling a female reporter who asked an Epstein question on the plane today, "quiet piggy," he later went on a 3 minute beat-down of another female reporter who asks about releasing the files and never answers the question. He often talks about what people would "do in the old days." In the old days a women would smack him in the face. I wish they could sue him for slander and for trying to ruin their career.

Personally, I was waiting and hoping for Zelensky to charge across the room and clock him when he and Vance were doing their ambush of him during his first WH visit, but he showed amazing restraint, only because he cared more about helping his country, than about giving THE LYIN' KING the beating he's needed and deserved his whole 🍆>🐱ing life! I would have cheered if Zelensky had done it, because he's the only person who could get away with it without being gunned down by the Secret Service..

she's been a punching bag for both sides over her relatively short career. I don't think she's up for an escalation of that. It might just be what it looks like. She's fed up with many of the men in her Party. I think she only "loved" the Prez because, like the rest, she felt it a prerequisite for staying in office. She knows his spell on their base may be breaking.

Hope you're right about her seeing THE LYIN' KING as a sinking ship. Time will tell. I do think more Repubs in congress will start seeing THE LYIN' KING and loyalty to him as a liability towards them getting re-elected...

MTG may be the first to launch a lifeboat from the sinking ship, but she won't be the last.
The speedy bill signings the last 2 days could represent an even bigger shift than imagined.

  1. the king got a sore throat from arguing about releasing the files

  2. his team convinced him they can redact enough to keep him covered

  3. his team knows the only people jailed or destroyed were his prior accomplices. At the pace he's breaking more rules and laws, and asking them to, their risk is too great.

  4. GOP Senators, like McConnell, have always hated him. They stuck with him because their voters did. Their losing support.

  5. the fate of this king will figuratively follow that of Julius Caesar. Now that they've got his signature on the bill...

THE DOJ WILL RELEASE MORE THAN HE EXPECTS and IT WILL BE HIS UNDOING!

I sure as hell hope you're right about this. Even if more rats start leaving the sinking ship, I still will never trust them, support them or vote for them. They have already proven how cowardly, selfish, and immoral they are, just by having supported him so long..

It matters because we need to hear it all. So many powerful men in business, banking, technology and politics are involved. International royalty and prime ministers. THE LYIN' KING of course doesn’t want his part to come out but he is part of a very large group. They all need to finally pay for what they have done.

They all need to and should, but I have zero confidence that it will ever happen, simply because they have too much money and power these days, esp. with the US govt., so they can always find ways to block and avoid any real accountability or punishment. And in their social circles, even being publicly shamed, such as full disclosure of the files, would still not make them pariahs, at least in their social circles. Only poverty would make one a pariah in those circles, sick as that sounds..
