    I was born, the son of Vito, pulled kicking & screaming into a parcel of land delineated as Queens, NY. A world shaped by a diverse community and overabundance of smart-asses--the latter of which i, regrettably, must account myself a member of. My ideals were largely shaped by a very active counter-culture movement in the 70's and a particularly bold and profound era of music & cinema.
    What this virtual world turns into, depends on the sum of ideas and ideals of all its members. But speaking for myself, I'd like this to be a space where:
    opinions are commercial free and don't require corporate, Party, or candidate approval.
    cultural, religious, and sexual diversity is embraced, not merely "tolerated."
    the earth, it's resources, and all of its life forms are nurtured rather than merely exploited.
    the greed of a few doesn't outweigh the needs of the many and private profits don't dictate public policy.
    worshipers follow the best examples of spiritual founders before the agendas of religious institutions.
    patriotism is a measure of how much the people of a country are willing to sacrifice for each other.
    I've written and recorded music most of life. I do like to express myself. To write, obviously. So this forum also serves as a tool for me to connect with other creative, expressive people. It should serve that function for you too. Whether you're looking to connect for personal, political, or business pursuits.
    I go by sonnyV3 here. The "V" is not "For Vendetta" (like the political film). I believe in the form of protest endorsed by MLK and Ghandi. The V stands for me, version 3, transitioning from father (v1), to son (v2), to spirit (v3 my true self -- defined in my next blog post).
    Create your own identity and let's imagine a world the new you would want to live in. It will be my pleasure to meet you and work with you to broadcast our intention to make that kind of world a reality.

    The motivation for this site was an epidemic of disinformation that turned into a crisis of misinformation during and after election 2024 — including:
    a daily stream of LIES served on a platform called "TRUTH Social" by a leader the Washington Post tracked with 30,573 "false or misleading claims".
    24 hour cable news LIES pitched as "fair & balanced" by a network that had to pay $787 million for lying about the prior election.
    31 LIARS from that network hired to fill key government positions along with 14 Cabinet positions filled by billionaire campaign donors.
    a Supreme Court ruling called "Citizens United" that effectively allows corporations to fund LIES that take power away from citizens.
    the Press: bullied and punished for asking tough questions; abandoning fact-checks; NEVER having the courage to call a politician's lie a LIE! (and, btw, though hundreds of politicians testified to Congress over the past 50 years, not one was charged with lying under oath!)
    In short, the election was a fabri-sham-mockery -- and too many Americans voted against their own best interests -- because their emotions were manipulated by lies!
    For me, the journey to newBluePlanet started soon after the Election 2000 debacle, with my launch of LiberalHearts--the world's first political dating site. I retired it--and myself--in 2024--until I realized that, more than ever, progressive thinkers and liberal hearts need a space to connect and be heard.
    Ideally, the Internet's "world-wide web" should have opened minds, instead of providing closed bubbles where fears could fester and be exploited. I'd like to think, that together, we can burst some bubbles. But not only do I need your help. I need you to lead. My time will be divided on other projects that share the same goal but will use the mediums of music and film as tools.
    I envision NBP as a kind of think-tank for putting together ideas to share on other social networks--rather than replace your participation there. Your voice is needed everywhere. I'd like to develop this as a co-op non-profit organization and hand it off to the community so that the mission might out-live me.

    I wrote and recorded this song tie-in to the 2024 campaign slogan We'll Never Go Back" Needless to say, it NEVER caught on. And, we went BACK. Waaay BACK! Nonetheless, i offer it up as another SHAREWARE OF THE SOUL freebie. Please do share it.

    i am spirit
    my gender, color, and species do not define me.
    my earth-ware was programmed with a basic operating system
    for survival and reproduction
    but connecting to my true source is the key to unlocking my advanced features
    and unlimited potential


    i am spirit
    my body was born into this time, this country, this culture.
    my ego commands that i identify with them,
